Hello readers!

I took this picture from Donald Miller's blog. Just to let you know that up front.

I haven't blogged in a week! What sort of craziness is that? I'm not sure myself.... I'll just do a quick update before I go to work.

I've been busy. Dogs are a lot of responsibility & take a lot of time. The same is true of friends. But both dogs & friends are fantastic things. Dinners. Birthdays. Long Battery Park Walks. And talks. Lots & lots of coffee. One really huge fight. Ok, so that was not so good. And I thought my trainer was trying to kill me at the gym. Also, weird 40 hour work weeks. Raises, Reviews & Interviews. Pros & Cons to all of those things. Ya know? You do. I know you do.

This week is no less awkward, but I am looking forward to it.

Soon, I would like to go to IKEA and buy this bedding. I CAN'T WAIT TO HAVE MY OWN PLACE ONE DAY SO I CAN DECORATE & FRAGRANCE IT TO MY HEART'S CONTENT! *phew* I'm glad I got that off my chest.

Everything is changing.

PS. You can buy Wonka Bars at Target.

Listening to: The Saltwater Room - Owl City, Worn Me Down (ep) - Rachael Yamagata, It's Good to be in Love - Frou Frou, Champagne Supernova - Oasis, Possibilty - Lykke Li.

I'm on The OC Season 2. Disc 4.

I'm reading A Million Miles in a Thousand Years by Donald Miller and In Defense of Food by Michael Pollan.

I'm really enjoying coconut iced coffee these days and the new Summer Vanillas at Bath & Body Works. And I'm still dreaming about the cake Mandy had at her birthday.

"But I also wondered if he wasn't right, that we were designed to live through something rather than to attain something, and the thing we were meant to live through was designed to change us. The point of a story is the character arc, the change." - Donald Miller

I love you all. Thanks for reading. Sorry I'm a flake. You will get used to it.

I either toast or pour milk on flakes. You've been spared both fates. So far.
